The TCF Resident Card exam is intended for foreigners under 65 years of age who are applying for the first time for a long-term resident card (valid for 10 years) or a card labelled "long-term resident - EU".
The level required to assemble the file for the resident card is A2.
For an application for a resident card, you can also provide the following diplomas, minimum level A2:
Listening comprehension (20 questions) - group test
Time: 15 minutes
Written comprehension (20 questions) - group test
Time: 20 minutes
Written expression (3 tasks) - group test
Time: 30 minutes
Oral expression (3 tasks) - individual test Time
Time: 10 minutes*

You can choose among any of
our French courses and take the TCF TP exam to validate your level. If you are employed in France, you can use the CPF (compte formation professionnel) to finance your program and the final exam.
To register for the exam, you must select a date on the calendar, pay online, and submit your registration paperwork.
